Sodexo Hosted “SheWorks” Initiative for International Women’s Day, Empowering Women with Career Skills and Nutrition Knowledge at the Good Shepherd Home Foundation

Sodexo Thailand celebrated International Women’s Day through its “SheWorks” initiative at the Good Shepherd Home Foundation.
Ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March, Sodexo Thailand celebrated women through its “SheWorks” initiative at the Good Shepherd Home Foundation.
More than 100 women joined the program to learn practical skills in nutrition and healthy living across all stages of life — from childhood and working age to senior years — helping promote healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.
As a global leader in food services, Sodexo also hosted a hands-on workshop on making healthy “Powerballs”, a simple and nutritious snack that participants can prepare for their families and potentially develop into an income-generating skill.
The event was further inspired by the sharing of experiences from Thuy Ngo, Managing Director of Sodexo Thailand and Vietnam, a female leader committed to empowering women and advancing their potential in society. Sodexo also opened opportunities for participants interested in joining the company, supporting women in building sustainable career pathways and improving their quality of life.
The program was supported by 15 Sodexo Ambassadors, who provided mentoring and skill coaching to create meaningful learning experiences and practical opportunities for personal development.
“Because creating opportunities for women means building a stronger future for society.”
