Sodexo Thailand partners with Wandee Culinary Technology College to build next-gen food professionals

Bangkok: Sodexo Thailand, a global leader in sustainable food services and valued experiences at every moment of life, headquartered in France and led by Mr. William Vowell (2nd from right), Head of Operations – Energy & Resources and Food Operations, Sodexo Thailand, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wandee Culinary Technology College, represented by Dr. Wichuda Na Songkhla (2nd from left), Managing Director, during the signing ceremony.
This 3-year collaboration aims to enhance vocational education and develop professional skills in culinary arts, nutrition, hospitality, and service management. It also integrates academic curricula in alignment with the Vocational Education Act while meeting the practical needs of the industry. The goal is to empower students with strong career pathways under internationally recognized professional standards.
Under this MOU, Sodexo Thailand will provide opportunities for students from Wangdee Culinary Technology College to gain hands-on experience in real workplace environments. The partnership also includes short-term training courses, culinary competitions, and the sharing of knowledge and international kitchen standards. The program covers professional kitchen management, the integration of technology and digital solutions to enhance operations, and online food service systems, equipping students with essential competencies for the modern workforce.
In addition, both parties will jointly drive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to promote the use of locally sourced ingredients, support circular economy practices, and foster sustainable community development. The partnership will also open opportunities for students to participate in domestic and international internship exchange programs to gain global exposure and elevate their capabilities to meet world-class professional standards.
