Sodexo Thailand Launches “Premium Drinking Water” in 100% Recycled Aluminum Cans The 1st in Thailand’s Integrated Facilities Management Industry

Bangkok: Sodexo Thailand, a global leader in sustainable food services and valued experiences at every moment of life, headquartered in France, is launching its new “Premium Drinking Water” in 100% recycled aluminum cans. This makes the first step in the company's commitment to sustainability in Thailand’s Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) industry. This initiative reinforces Sodexo’s strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility under the concept “No Plastic Water, Great the Planet,” marking a significant milestone in reducing plastic usage and driving sustainability across all dimensions of its operations.
The Premium Drinking Water Project represents Sodexo Thailand’s ongoing effort to minimize single-use plastic by adopting aluminum packaging that is infinitely recyclable. This material can be reused repeatedly without loss of quality. This move aligns with Sodexo’s global goal of promoting responsible consumption behavior while meeting the growing demand from environmentally conscious consumers.
Mr. William Vowell, Head of Operations – Energy & Resources and Food Operations, Sodexo Thailand, said: “The launch of our 100% recycled aluminum canned water marks another key milestone in Sodexo Thailand’s sustainability journey. The product is designed with a modern look and portable convenience, and it’s supported by a nationwide distribution strategy that reaches all Sodexo sites across Thailand. We also plan to collaborate with like-minded partners to run continuous environmental campaigns that promote recycling and responsible resource use. Through these efforts, we aim to raise awareness about sustainable living and inspire other businesses to join us in reducing plastic consumption and creating a better planet together.”
The introduction of Sodexo’s Premium Drinking Water not only meets the expectations of today’s eco-conscious consumers but also sets a new sustainability benchmark for Thailand’s Integrated Facilities Management industry, striking a balance between business growth and genuine responsibility toward society and the environment.
