Sodexo Thailand launches “WasteWatch" Project with a goal of reducing global food waste by 50% in 5 years
Sodexo, a local unit of the France-based global leader in food and integrated facilities management services for improving the quality of life, launched the "WasteWatch" Project to confront the food waste issue with a goal of reducing the amount of food waste in Thailand and across the world by 50% in 2025.
This project is a close collaboration with Leanpath Inc., a group of businesses that meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance. We are committed to preventing daily food waste in the world’s kitchens to meet the needs of customers with cutting-edge technology and applications.
Sodexo Thailand has started the “WasteWatch” pilot project with our customers in 7 locations including leading hospitals and international schools. It not only helps manage and reduce food waste in these organizations, but also supports the government’s Food Waste Management Project, which shares the same goal of achieving sustainable food waste management.
