To celebrate the upcoming International Women's Day, Sodexo Thailand is proud to present "Ms. Gesarinporn Karnchanapunchapol," our HR Director, Thailand and Vietnam, with over 20 years of experience in the HR field. She recently participated in an interview with Prachachat Business Newspaper, contributing to the "HR" column by discussing the roles and challenges of women in the modern era.
"HR work is not just about managing people but working for the organization's growth together. I often tell my team that work should always be thought outside the box. In my role in HR, I always communicate with the team that we don't work with numbers, but we work with people. So, working with people must be more than the results of numbers every time."
"As a female executive, we must be confident that we can do it. First and foremost, we have to encourage ourselves because no one will constantly encourage us. Our femininity makes us gentle and delicate, but we don't have to be weak. Whatever others can do, we can do for sure; we haven't tried yet. Trying and not achieving as expected is okay because no one succeeds at everything they do. We have to keep going until we succeed."
