Sodexo recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Christian University of Thailand on academic cooperation which aims at enhancing education and producing skilled manpower to meet the needs of both the domestic and international labor markets.

Mr. Arnaud Bialecki, Country Manager, Sodexo Thailand said, “Sodexo Thailand is delighted to establish this cooperation with Christian University of Thailand as it will enable students to develop to their full potential by enhancing their academic and working skills through internships within our company’s various service areas, including hospitality, food and nutrition and medical equipment maintenance. The MOU also covers cooperation in research, education and training as well as the exchange of experts for further development of human capital of the two organizations.

Mrs. Achara Srisuponkonkul, Acting Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Christian University of Thailand said “Christian University of Thailand emphasizes “Love and Service” to produce leader graduates who hold vision and intent to self-development through life-long learning. Our graduates are knowledgeable, competent professionals. So we expect that the signing of this MOU will help promote the university’s objectives. This is the first time we have entered into an MOU with such private organization that has potential at international level as Sodexo. I am sure mutual benefits of this partnership will be enormous. More specifically, it provides opportunities for our students to develop their skills and competencies to meet the requirements of the hospitality industry. Additionally, it will also help encourage research and development as well as promoting collaboration among professionals.”

“Sodexo Thailand currently employs over 2,500 skilled and experienced staff providing services across multiple client segments we serve including on-site and offshore services. We believe that the cooperation under this MOU will be highly beneficial to the students of Christian University of Thailand, enabling them to gain a great deal of knowledge and work experience in their field of study by doing internship program across the company,” Mr. Arnaud concluded.
